Golf Invitational
The Broken Driver Hidden Flask golf outing began a few years back when a couple guys took a quick golf trip to harbor springs in 2012. It was such a great time they decided to extend some invites the following year. In 2013 the official name of the event was born and with it the official scoring concept. In 2014 the FIRST OFFICIAL BDHF Invitational golf outing was born!
The first event in 2014 consisted of 11 golfers and no actual score sheet for handicaps. The winner was the gross low score, and the trophy was held by the winner for the year to be returned the following year and passed along to the new champion. A flask was given to the winner to KEEP. In 2015 the rules changed and a more handicapped system was put into place. From that point on, the NET low score received a flask filled with bourbon and to be modified by the holder and returned filled with their drink of choice for the next years NET champion. This new format exists today with some additional logic built into the scoring matrix.
